However, if the product is listed in the WaterMark Schedule of products but has not been WaterMark certified, it is not authorised for use in a plumbing and drainage installation and may not be accepted by the State or Territory Authority having jurisdiction. In addition, a licensed plumber is not permitted to install these products.
A WaterMark certified product must be marked with the WaterMark and certificate number and be listed on the WaterMark Product Database. You can search the database by inputting the certificate number, model ID or supplier/manufacturer name.
The WaterMark Schedule of products lists the products that require certification. The WaterMark Schedule of excluded products the products that do not require certification. If you cannot locate the product on either of these lists, the product may require a risk assessment to be undertaken to determine whether or not WaterMark certification is required.
