Registrations are NOW OPEN for the ABCB's NCC Information Seminars
The NCC Information Seminar include presentations from the ABCB, Standards Australia and local Building Control Administrations. They consist of a half-day session, dedicated to the use and application of the BCA. An additional half day afternoon session focussing on performance solutions is being held in Sydney and Melbourne.
You can select available session dates by viewing the online booking form however, please note due to demand, a number of sessions have sold out.
The BCA session
The BCA session includes a presentation on the application of BCA provisions using designs and scenarios. The session also covers updates on the CodeMark Certification Scheme. Information on fire safety in high rise buildings will also be presented.
Part of the BCA session also includes Standards Australia's update on recently published standards and those being developed. In addition, the local Building Control Administration will be providing a presentation on state/territory specific information.
Pathways within a Performance Based Code Session - SOLD OUT
This new additional session is only available in Sydney and Melbourne as a pilot for this format. It is dedicated to using and developing performance based solutions. This session is available at a reduced rate if combined with the BCA session.

BCA Sessions will be held from 9.30am to 12.30pm with an extra session in Sydney available in the afternoon of 8 March from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Pathways within a Performance Based Code sessions run from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Webcasts of all seminar presentations will be released on the ABCB website in May.
An update on the PCA, including a focus on WaterMark developments, will be released as a webcast in 2017.
